How Pawmology works
Pawmology keeps your pet's records in one place and connects you with the people who care for them. Owners send sitters a care sheet, sitters log each visit with a checklist and photos, and owners follow along live. It's free for pet owners.
Getting started
Create your free account
Go to pawmology.com and tap Get started free. Sign in with Google, or with your email and a password.
Choose how you'll use it
Pick I'm a pet owner or I care for pets. Sitters choose the services they offer. You can switch later, and sitters with their own pets can use both sides from one account.
Put it on your phone
Pawmology works in any browser, with nothing to download. For one-tap access and notifications, add it to your home screen: on iPhone, open pawmology.com in Safari and tap Share → Add to Home Screen. On Android, tap ⋮ → Add to Home screen in Chrome.
For pet owners Free
Set up your pet once. Then every sitter, walker or groomer gets the same clear instructions, and you can see each visit as it happens.
Add your pet
Tap Add your first pet, then fill in:
- Health: allergies, medications with doses, conditions, vaccines and microchip
- Care: feeding, walks, behavior and house rules
- Contacts: your vet and emergency contacts
- Reminders: flea meds, boosters, nail trims. The home screen shows what's due in the next 45 days.
Send a care sheet to your sitter
Open your pet and tap Share with a sitter. Pick the date the link stops working, add an optional note ("Key is under the blue pot"), and send the link by text or email. Your sitter can open it on any phone without an account. Allergies show first, then meds, routine and tap-to-call numbers.
You can turn a link off any time from the same screen.Your sitter saves it
If your sitter uses Pawmology, they tap Save to my clients on the care sheet. You'll get a notification that it's linked, and their visits will show up on your pet's Visits tab.
Follow each visit live
When your sitter starts a visit, you get a notification and a Watch live banner on your home screen. You'll see the checklist being ticked off (fed, meds, walk) with times, plus notes and photos as they're posted.
Rate the visit
When the visit ends you get a short report. Give it 1 to 5 stars and a comment. You can choose to post your review on the sitter's public profile, showing your first name and your pet's name.
Find a sitter
Need someone new? Tap Find a sitter to browse local sitters, walkers and groomers. Filter by service, type of pet and area. Each profile shows experience, services, rates, availability and reviews from real visits, and you contact them directly by text, call or email.

For sitters, walkers and groomers
Keep every client's care details in one place, log visits in a couple of taps, and build a profile with reviews that only come from real visits.
Build your public profile
On your home screen, tap Create your profile. Add a clear photo of you, a one-line headline, an "About you", your city and areas, services and rates, the pets you care for, your experience, availability and how owners can reach you. Then tap Make public so owners can find you in Find a sitter.
The progress bar shows what's left. A photo, About you, city, services and a phone or email are required to go public.Get your clients' care sheets
Send clients the ready-made message from your home screen (Copy message). When a client sends you a care sheet link, open it while signed in and tap Save to my clients. Their pet appears under Your clients, ready for visits.
Start a visit
Tap Start visit on a client. A checklist is built from the care sheet automatically (fed, each medication with its dose, water, walk or litter). Tick items as you go; each one gets a time. Add your own items if needed.
Send updates and photos
Write a quick note and add a photo (up to 4 per visit). The owner sees each update right away and gets a notification.
End the visit
Tap End visit and send report and add a short summary. The owner gets the report and can rate it. Ratings appear on your profile and in the sitter directory.
Founding sitters
Pawmology is free for sitters while we launch in Huntsville. Our first 50 sitters get a ★ Founding sitter badge on their profile and keep Pawmology Pro free for 2 years after paid plans arrive.
Tips and settings
Turn on notifications
Go to Account → Notifications → Turn on notifications. On iPhone, first add Pawmology to your home screen and open it from there.
Invite friends
Every account has a personal invite link in Account → Invite friends. Share it with friends, clients or other sitters, and see who joins.
Switch sides
Sitters see a My pets / Sitting switch at the top. Owners can turn on sitter tools in Account.
Keep care sheets current
Update meds and routines in your pet's profile before each trip. New care sheets always use the latest details.
Meet first
Sitter profiles are written by the sitters, and Pawmology doesn't run background checks yet. Meet before the first booking and ask for references.
Your data
Your pets are private to your account. You can delete your account and everything in it from Account → Delete account.
Questions
Is Pawmology free?
Yes. It's free for pet owners, and free for sitters while we launch. If paid plans for sitters arrive, we'll give at least 30 days' notice, and founding sitter perks will be honored.
Does my sitter need an account?
No. Anyone can open a care sheet link on any phone. A sitter only needs an account to save clients, log visits and send you live updates.
Who can see my pet's information?
Only you, plus anyone you send a care sheet link to, until the date you choose. A sitter who saves your care sheet can see it while the link is active, and you can both see the visits they log.
What happens when a care sheet link expires?
It stops opening, and your sitter can't start new visits from it. Past visit reports stay on your pet's Visits tab. Send a new link for the next booking.
How do reviews work?
Only owners who had a finished visit logged by that sitter on Pawmology can review them, one review per owner per sitter. That keeps ratings honest.
I'm not getting notifications
Check Account → Notifications. It tells you what's needed on your device. On iPhone, Pawmology must be opened from the home screen icon. Browsers inside other apps (Facebook, Instagram, Gmail) don't support notifications.
Ready to start?
Set up your pet or your sitter profile in about five minutes.
